Decisions’

Decisions could vary from meaning, everything to nothing. The only thing that you have to do is take the right ones since some could be for your good and be bad for others and the same backwards. You have to be the one to chose the ones that you believe will be correct in helping yourself and others, or just yourself. While taking a decision you could get pressured by others for taking anothers decision. And you will probably follow what someone with great influencial power would tell you to do. But most people believe that when you are taking a decision, that the decision should come from your heart, you shouldn’t mind what the others think about what you are about to do. I totally agree with this statement, since your decision will affect you in many ways and others in little simple things. It is okay to hear about what others have to say about your decision but not to totally change your thoughts about things due to other people that just want to avoid what you are about to do.

Football season’

Okay football season will start next year, my team is getting set up, we have to begin to choose our uniforms and how we want them. We still need a few more players but I will probably take care of that later, some from the ACFA are going to join the team. These vacations, won’t be just vacations. Since I already know the coach and he is my excercise trainer, he will make me do alot of work to build me up for the team. Me, I am the team’s runningback. Many people that I know of would probably brag about their position, about how good they are. But here is how I would rate myself.

running- 85%

catching-80%

throwing accurately- 70%

throwing far- 85%

running through the other team’s defenses- 90%

avoiding getting tackled- 80%

intercepting- never do it, I leave others to do that

tackling- many people have told me that since I wont have to mind the other team getting hurt, I could do better so its between 95-100%

Well, all the people that are already in the team know how to play the sport, but some need more practice, some just need to warm up because they are a bit rusty, and others just cant take a hit. It will be alot of work but if I get my team up and ready, I’ll probably get one of the best teams. (you guys know who you are, and if any of these 3 descriptions fit you). Oh and any of you guys that have seen me play, put up how much you’d give me for any of the categories, thanks.

things get worse before they get better

Last friday we came back from our trip to manuel antonio, a national park. I dont really know why but when I got back I was VERY tired and I didn’t know if I would even last long before I fell asleep. First thing I hear when I got on my car was, “emanuel, were leaving back to the beach tomorrow, pack your things”, “wait, WHAT? I just came back from the beach do you even know how tired I am?”, “Well then I suggest you start packing your things as soon as we get home then, so you could sleep a little”. When I got to the beach the next day I was really bored and tired. I didn’t want to do anything. Well to my surprise a friend of mine had also come, I didn’t even know that she was going to come. So in the end I didn’t end up very much, bored.

golf´

Yes I know that many of you might be thinking, ¨What does a guy like him want to do with this sport? It isn´t a game in which there is much activity involved (a game in which you won´t get tired)¨. Well I play this game because it is actually a very challenging game since eacht time that you play it there might be different factors that will decide if you made a good shot or a bad one. I am really up for challenges, actually I might even taunt some people for them to challenge me to do something. I actually just remembered something that I did friday. We were at school playing football against the highschoolers. There was this highschooler, really big (not as in tall, I mean is in body (FAT)). He had played with us before several times, he kept mocking me that I couldn´t pass him if he was in defence. Well I just got tired of him. They hiked the ball, I ran towards him, jumped enough so that my body would slam directly into his chest so that he could lose his balance and fall. It worked. Impressively it worked, I had tried before to push him but I always, literally just bounced off of his stomach. Well I guess having had made him fall back taught him a lesson. NEVER underestimate anyone that is smaller than you (in height and FAT).  Back to golf. I started playing when I was 7 although I left the sport since I got bored of it. I just got back to it because my dad wanted me to learn how to play and wanted me to be good at it for when I am 40. Most of the time people don´t think of the sport as such a big thing, this is because they see it an easy thing to do. Well if you think that, I cant wait to stand right next to you and laught at you because you WONT hit that ball in your first game, and if you do, you will BARELY touch it, it wont go past 10 feet :D .

Boredom…

Okay yeah I am really bored right now because I have to write this blog down for people to be able to read and kind of entertain themselves (by saying this I mean all of you out there that are just reading blogs because for the moment you just have nothing better to do, and no I don’t mean this as an insult (if it would be like an insult I would have said, “you people out there that have nothing better to do in your lives that you have to look for random blogs and see what people have to talk about”)). Well I kind of can’t think about ANYTHING at the moment to go ahead and write about. You know when you actually begin to think, “hmm what should I write about today?… Ughh I cant think about anything, dang it, my teacher is going to fail me if I can never find any kind of topic that I could write about”. I also think that I just can’t write about anything for the moment because I am just REALLY BORED of sitting infront of my computer and having to write this blog down (as I have probably said before).

Bagelmens…

Oh well you might be wondering what does a guy like me want to do in bagelmens. Well I don´t go there because I like to but now I am here because my parents recently took away my internet. So to be able to do these blogs for my class I´m going to need some internet, BAGELMENS!!! Well I´m in here right now because I need to type this, and I feel as if I am writing in a diary, I feel awkward. Well Bagelmens, as the name clearly states SELLS BAGELS!!! DUH. They also make some pretty good sandwiches, oh and coffee mmm. Well in here there is a pretty creative nice atmosphere for just hanging out (pshh yeah right). I really don´t like coming here because it gaves me that weird sensation that someone is watching me. What it also brings back to me is one of my past memories from when I was a kid. I liked to drink coffee with milk and sugar. But one day… everything changed my dad brought me to bagelmens and told me that he was going to teach me how to drink. I asked him, “ALCOHOL?!”, “no, coffee”, “ooooh coffee I thought that you meant alcohol.” So my dad made me drink a whole coffee mug that had no sugar or anything in it, it was just PURE coffee. Well as you might have guessed I kind of got addicted to it. Every day I drank more and more. Now I dont drink anymore (COFFEE).

Kuadbiking

Kuadbiking has been a great factor in my life since I was little, it involved many challenges and some times great falls.

I have been kuadbiking since I was five and I had recently stopped like about a year ago since my kuadbike just wont keep running (burnt engine). When I was little my dad had got me involved in kuadbiking because he just told me to go and drive a little. By the time I was back the kuadbike was full of mud since it had been a rainy day.

The worse thing ever to happen to me while kuadbiking was when I was racing on the mountains. I was gaining the lead on everyone that was against me but there was an intersection by the woods, I didn’t know which way to go so I just decided to go by my left. Big mistake. I kept driving for about fifteen minutes, I noticed that the road never ended and that I was coming to a hill on the mountain, I decided to keep driving, and once ontop of the hill look for which way to go out. I put too much gas on my kuad, and exactly at the other side of the hill guess what there was… a cliff, it wasn’t actually a REALLY high cliff but it was about seven feet high, I was going too fast so my kuad just raised into the air when I went on the cliff, I went with it. All that time on the air I was wondering, “OH $#%^ should I let go and jump off or just fall with it?”. I cleared out my mind and made my decision, I decided to stay with my kuad on the air and land it. The moment that I landed I hit my hands to hard on the handles and my right thumb just snapped back. I stayed there for about an hour found some way to go around the cliff and went all the way back to the intersection. The race was supposed to take a MAXIMUM of three hours. I made it in four. I lost. After that accident nothing has really happened to ME but to people that have been driving with me… thats a different story. I was practicing to lift the two side wheels on the air and stay like that at least for ten seconds. My brother didn’t stop bothering that he also wanted to do that so I told him to hop on. He did. I was doing it and I just passed over a curve, grabbed my brother with one hand threw him off of the kuad, and with the other hand I tried to maneuver my way back so that the kuad wouldn’t tip over. It did.

Just one random thing out there

Haven’t you ever taken a test, just finished it and everyones done, everything’ s cool its all done your over the test.

You walk over to your friend and you tell him, “Dang that was easy, I OBVIOUSLY got an A, or at least a B like c’ mon that was way too easy”.

Next day you get the test, “Aww $%ˆ† I bombed it”.

You get asked by your friend, “yeah I got an 87 dude this was soo easy, how much did you get?”.

“Umm, dude I bombed the test, like I unno how this happened like, GOD, I studied so much for this dang test my parents are going to put me into adoption”.

This situation has probably happened to you, if not you’ve somehow seen it happen to someone else, although yes if you see it happen to someone else it may become to being something kind of funny to hilarious (for you not them). I just wanted to throw this out there, no comment on my part, hehe. This post was practically one random story that I just thought of while writing some other post. Well if you comment, tell us if this has actually happened to you so we could all go and laugh at who it happened to… Oh and yes this happened to me once…. long time ago though in a spanish test…. ughh spanish god.

kickboxing`

Have you ever wanted to do some kind of sport in which you can actually fight in almost any kind of way (by saying almost I mean except grappling moves… grabs). I have and after thinking about this what I had come up with was… kickboxing.Kickboxing is a great sport in which it greatly involves your speed that you have in your upper body and in your lower body. This would be because you need your upper body to actually be able to lunge at your opponent when your going to punch them at the beginning of a fight, or just when your about to knock them out. You would also need your upper body (in this case arms) for you to do fast punches that will get your opponent numb so that you could easily finish him with a strong punch. When you are kickboxing you greatly need to build up your lower body because this way you will be able to resist the kicks given to you on your shins, do combos with one same leg, and also because this way you could jump high enough to kick someones ribs or even their head.Normaly in the beginning of kickboxing if you just cant take hits to the body/legs/head or anywhere don’t enter the sport because you will get hit many times and you cant avoid it.Kickboxing in the beginning could be a very tough sport because of its training and because always your competitors are not the equal size to you. One of the toughest training practices that apply to kickboxing would be when you have to kick someone else’s shin with your own, this way you could gain more strength, no I shouldn’t say strength, this way you will be able to resist other peoples kicks once they land them on your shins. In kickboxing once you get a decent speed with your kicks what would be next is combining them. For example of you kick someone’s shin you could combine it with a kick to the stomach and then their head, this would be a triple. While combining moves in the beginning it will be hard for you and I strongly disagree if you are going to be fight without even being able to hold ground while your left/right leg is doing a triple or a double. For you to be able to do any of the triples/doubles you should practicea. alotb. while practicing hold your ground and never move while your foot is on midairOne hint that I could say about doing triples/doubles is that you should always do a spin right after the kick, so you could easily lock your leg into place for the next kick (with your leg, not your whole body).Another would be that you should never exagerate your kicks, for example. If you can’t kick someone high enough to get to their neck/head don’t even try it or think about it because, if you don’t stretch a muscle what you will do is that you will do a very slow kick in which anyone could dodge and counter you for being so slow.Always when you are kicking if you can’t do any combos what you should do is kick really hard or fast enough so that your kick can’t geta. countered against (by saying countered against I mean that someone could apply another combo on your kick)b. easily dodgedc. grabbed by the other personIf your kick can’t end up in any of these three ways it means that you are strong enough or fast enough. But if your kick does end up in any of these three and you just can’t change that fact then it means that you suck at this sport and that you should just QUIT, you WEREN’T made for this BEAT IT. When you can find out that you will never be good at this sport is when you just keep losing against AnYoNe even kids that are smaller than you. When you see that happening to you, find yourself something else to do so that you could avoid all the pain that you will get for keeping on.

freedom

Freedom means to me that you could do anything that you want to do. This is whenever you want to do it and wherever you would want to do it. People don’ t have much freedom after they have done something wrong to someone or to alot of people because people or

a. Wont believe you (trust you)

b. Will be scared of your actions (this would make them take caution while you are doing something that might involve them in it).

Freedom most of the time is an award. For example if I want freedom from my parents I just have to be responsible of the things that they tell me to do and I should take care of myself (don’ t drink/ smoke/ do drugs/ be a bad influence to people by doing any of the others in this list).

When you are free and you dont have to care about many things that might oppose you from doing what you want it is a really good feeling because you know that people already trust you in what you are about to do/ are going to do. When you are trusted by people it is a kind of freedom because they will trust you in different ways.

What I think is that you can become free when you finally move away from your house and just be on your own in life. Although you actually can NEVER end up having complete freedom because there are laws involved that wouldn’ t let you do whatever you want to do. The only place that you will have freedom is in your own thoughts, or if somehow you make your own country (and trust me, this will NEVER happen in your life so don’ t even think about this option, actually just totally FORGET about it.) So in the end your always free to do the RIGHT things (in other words your always free to do anything that doesn’ t harm anyone else in any way.)
